Learning Scalaz

So you've heard about Scalaz, but how do you go about learning it? In this talk from NE Scala, Eugene Yokota demonstrates the purpose of Scalaz, then shares a few typeclasses and data structures that can improve any style of Scala program.

Eugene concludes by saying that you're unlikely to learn Scalaz by only reading his blog articles, reading books, or by simply listening to this talk for that matter. While these are excellent tools, the best way to learn is by getting your hands dirty with coding exercises, trying it on REPL, writing your own blog posts, and engaging with others eager to learn.

There's more from NE Scala 2014!

Follow along as we post each of the talks from this year's Northeast Scala Symposium.
