Dave Methvin is a freelance web developer, member of the jQuery Core development team, and participant in the jQuery community since 2006. He delivers Javascript and jQuery consulting work for some of the most advanced software teams across the U.S. Dave has been creating JavaScript and HTML web solutions since 1996. At his startup, PC Pitstop, he used jQuery in the design of a Windows system maintenance utility called Optimize. Dave has also developed software for robotics, factory automation, and telecommunications. He has been active in technology journalism as an editor and writer, published in both online and print media such as InformationWeek, PC Magazine, and Windows Magazine.

[top] How is this training usually structured?

Typically we divide the training days into four sessions. Two sessions before lunch, and two sessions after lunch. Between any two sessions, we take a break. Short 15-minute breaks in the morning and the afternoon, and usually an hour-long lunch-break.

The last hour is usually reserved for questions and answers.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive at least 20 minutes early on the first day of the class and 15 minutes early for the remainder of the training.

  • All equipment required to perform the hands-on parts of this class. This usually means a personal computer.

You are responsible for:
